ALEXANDRAKIS, ALEKOS
(Athens, 1928)

Great theatre and film actor, he graduated from the National Theatre in 1951. He acted in excellent performances (Anouilh's "Leokandia", Schiller's "Maria Stuart", Shakespeare's "Hamlet") and he first appeared at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus in 1954 in Euripides' "Hippolytus". He had also worked for many years with Katerina Andreadi and in 1970 he created his personal group together with Nonika Galinea where the presented plays by Neil Simon, Oscar Wilde, Agatha Christie, Edward Albee, Eugene O'Neill, Friedrich Durrenmatt.
