KARADINOS, SOCRATIS
(Athens, 1906 - 1979)

Theatre director and author. He first appeared as a director in 1933 and cooperated for the first time with the National Theatre in 1946. In 1961 he was appointed as General Manager of the newly-established "State Theatre of Northern Greece". Among his prominent stage directions is considered to be Euripides' "Hecuba" with Eleni Papadaki (1943).
